Wicker & Flame - Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy


1. Overview

Welcome to Wicker & Flame. By purchasing from or browsing our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.


Please read them carefully before making a purchase. These Terms are designed to protect both you (the customer) and us (the business) and ensure a transparent and fair experience.

 

Please Note: Shipping notifications may be automatically generated when a label is created. Orders are considered dispatched once collected by the courier. 

Christmas delivery cut-off dates are provided as a guide only. Orders placed after the applicable cut-off date for your state are not guaranteed to arrive before Christmas. Wicker & Flame accepts no responsibility for orders that do not arrive before Christmas once placed after the stated cut-off date.

All sales are final. We operate under a strict no-refund policy. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to our Terms & Conditions as published on our website.

Wicker & Flame is a custom-made candle company. All products are handmade to order and require a standard 10 business day processing time (business days only) prior to dispatch. Processing times do not include shipping or courier transit times. 

Processing date starts the day after your order is placed.

It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully review their state’s Christmas cut-off date, processing times, and our Terms & Conditions before completing a purchase.

 


2. Custom and Made-to-Order Products

Each piece is custom-made exclusively for you. Because of this, slight variations may occur in appearance. These are considered part of the handmade process, not faults.

Order Cancellations, Changes & Refunds

Please note that all Wicker & Flame products are custom-made to order, and we work through a large volume of personalised orders each day. For this reason, we have a strict 8-10 business day processing time before your order is dispatched.

Because every candle is individually handmade based on the fragrance, charm, and design you select, orders cannot be changed, cancelled, or refunded once they have been placed.

Please note: We have a strict non-refund policy if you have placed your order without checking processing times.

Processing times are stated across the website.

Refunds or replacements will only be issued if a product is deemed faulty in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Change of mind, ordering the wrong item, or requests to alter or cancel an order after checkout are not eligible for cancellation or refund.



3. Processing Time 

Please ensure you carefully review the Christmas cut-off dates for your state prior to placing your order.

 

Please Note:

Our processing time has changed due to a very high volume of orders - Processing time before dispatch is 8-10 business days. All orders placed after the 3rd of December will be treaded as pre-orders and dispatched January 19th.

Please do not place an order if you cannot accept these terms as we have a strict no refund policy due to being a custom-made product. 

 

Please allow 8 to 10 business days for your order to be processed before dispatch.
During high-volume seasons (e.g. Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or limited releases), processing may extend slightly.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms, including our 8-10 business day processing timeframe. 


Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email.


4. Pre-Orders and Limited Collections

From time to time, Wicker & Flame may offer pre-order items or limited-edition collections.
Pre-order products are made to order and are subject to the stated estimated dispatch dates on the product page.
Please note that these dates are estimates only, and while we aim to deliver within that timeframe, delays may occasionally occur due to supply or seasonal demand.


5. Gift Orders

If your order is a gift, please ensure the correct recipient name and shipping address are entered at checkout.
Gift notes can be included by request.
Once your order has been lodged with the carrier, we are not responsible for delays, loss, or incorrect delivery due to address errors.


6. Shipping and Delivery

  • We ship Australia-wide using trusted courier and postal partners.

  • Once your order leaves our studio, Wicker & Flame is not liable for postal or courier delays.

  • Ownership of the goods passes to you upon dispatch.

  • Tracking details will be emailed to you once your order is shipped.

If a parcel is returned to sender due to incorrect details or non-collection, re-delivery charges will apply.
